ASK HN: If I use incognito in Chrome and VPN, my traffic it's still linked?

So I use Chrome on mobile and windows. Sometimes I want to check something and to don't be tracked back to my main Google account. Using incognito and VPN is enough, or do they send some more information? Chrome has access to my system so I'm theory could get my hardware id or something similar. Also they could use some fingerprint technique.

Do you think they do it, or not?

Anyone actually checked what Chrome is sending back to Google?
