Ask HN: Anybody need an Android Developer

The short version:

I took some years in mobile and lamp/enterprise and made the switch to Android. Now with me assuming part-time care-taker duties for some family members I cannot relocate.

However, my Git/Hg skills are sharp and so is my rails framework skills and I have lowered my month expenses so that I could take on some remote work at a more reasonable startup rate rather than the $150 per hour freelance rates for mobile development.

Do you know of a startup that may be in need of porting a mobile application to android and would not mind having it completed remotely?

Side Note: my github user-name pages with demos, etc go up on Monday(shareme.github.com nothing there now).

You should've waited and posted this on Monday.

Your story will inevitably drop from the front page by the time you have a portfolio up. If I were you, I might take the time to get your stuff up on Github now.
