Ask HN: 2018 MacBook Air keyboard problems?

I bought a 2018 MacBook Air on 12th December and it is repeating keys randomly after only two weeks, particularly E, O, I, S and space. Does anyone else experience this?

Is this another butterfly keyboard problem on the horizon?

It's utterly frustrating to use so I am returning it tomorrow for a full refund under 30 day statutory fault terms here in UK.
