The better to understand the people populating HN I ask, do you read XKCD?

Also, if you're at all interested in the results, consider upvoting the item, otherwise in less than an hour it'll fall off the "new" page and never be seen again, resulting in so few votes as to be useless.

I really don't like XKCD. I don't get why people find it funny. Of course, there are some extremely good ones, but IMO, most of them consist of badly-drawn poorly-executed unoriginal jokes.

It turns out I'm not alone, and I'm much amused by the rantings at http://xkcdsucks.blogspot.com

It's interesting how someone spends the time and effort in maintaining a blog and writing long articles about something he/she doesn't like. If I don't like something I just invest my time in something better.

It depends if writing that content brings eyeballs and advertising revenue.

Obviously, this is only my opinion but:

I find the rants amusing.

I take comfort in the fact that there are people that share my opinion, especially when the sites that I most regularly visit (SO,HN,Reddit etc.) all seem to take a differing view - that XKCD is good.

It's intriguing to me why people would think most of the comics are funny. It's something I really don't understand. Is there something wrong with my sense of humour? And when there's something I don't understand, I try to study it.

It's in my rss feed, so I read it when it updates. That said, it has been less and less amusing as time goes on.
