Ask HN: Rendering html via svg

I wonder if anyone knows of maybe an xlst that can convert html to svg...or some other means...I am not interested in support for plugins, just straight html content including rendering images...I am trying to avoid doing the work if at all possible...Please don't recommend foreignobject...I want to render html using actual svg elements such as text and tspan..
