Ask HN: Will working for online sports betting company ruin my reputation

I live in NY and am considering a role at an online sports betting company in NJ (gambling is legal in NJ). It's a legitimate company and the money is good. However, I'm worried that in the future people will see this on my resume and think I'm sketchy. Is that a valid concern or am I over thinking this?
