I've been wanting to do this post for some time. This project has taken a significant portion of my recent life and I'm keen to know what you think.
Pagebuild is a service we've recently launched. It allows you to instantly provision and create a website without knowledge of HTML or programming of any kind.
We provide a number of stock themes. You can also upload themes using our very basic templating system if you know some HTML and CSS. A service also exists where we will design a custom theme for use with the site.
> It would be good if they can go into the demo and then sign up afterwards and keep the site they created in the demo.
The way we have the demo site setup at the moment it's not possible to do this. Currently it's a single public site that gets refreshed periodically. If in the future we created a demo site on demand per customer this would be a good idea.
> Also, it would be great to see a list of add-ons
I wanted to see how it worked, here's my thought process:
* How does this work?
* Hmm, no, I don't want to login or signup.
* Oh, there's a small demo button.
* Hmmm, I have to sign in?
* *Sigh*, okay. Click.
* Hmmm, a login page, this is too much trouble.
* Leave.
Granted I wasn't too invested in the product but I recall there was one site (that "high-res" mockups one) that got promoted here recently that allowed me to start playing right away without signing in/creating an account.
Obviously this needs to be balanced against people who might build something and then lose it if they don't realise they have to sign-up to save it.

We're working on it!

I'll look into automatically logging people in when they go to the demo page.
