Ask HN: Does UpWork suspend accounts just for not subscribing?
I contacted the support through email, They asked me to explain logins from different countries which I explained by traveling and using VPN(which they said, on their forum, is ok to use), they didn't come back to me for two weeks. I contacted them through their Facebook page and they replied that they have to suspend accounts that "demonstrate bad behaviour", Which is impossible since I didn't even use. I asked them to elaborate but no response.
Their full response on Facebook "we're sorry to confirm your account is suspended. We can see it has been decided that our working relationship must come to an end, and we regret that this has to happen. We aim to maintain an online workplace that benefits all users. For this reason, we sometimes must take action against accounts that demonstrate behaviour that can negatively impact other users. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours outside of Upwork."
