Ask HN: Which companies have been successful with rebranding?

Slack updated their logo yesterday and it seemed like a lot of feedback was negative. In fact, any major rebranding (that I’ve seen) tends to have similar reception.

Can you think of any examples where a company rebranding really knocked it out of the park? And what makes you think that?
