Ask HN: Portal and Powerful raspberry pi alternative

I need a portal raspberry pi alternative which I can convert into a Router and run services like Pinhole, media server, etc.. on it.

I want it to consume very low power and should be portal like Raspberry Pi.

8+ core is better, ARM would be best.
