Ask HN: Is there a good blogpost about e-commerce category-specific filters?

Category-specific filtering on e-commerce websites is an interesting system-design problem. It ranges from UX design best practices, storage-layer structure considerations, backend & API design, analytics, etc. I was hoping to find a lot of content but it has proven tough. All I can find is design/marketing blogs.
