The web is dominated by Chrome, not Chromium.

And Microsoft changing its dying and meaningless browser to a Chromiun fork won’t do them any good. In fact they’ve lost what little leverage they had left in this space.

For a taste of how Google can break your web, checkout the changes in Manifest v3, changes that if approved will be automatically adopted by all Chromium forks. That’s what a monoculture looks like.
