Ask HN: What happened to Finsix?

The startup managed to bring very high frequency AC/DC transformation technology from MIT to the public for a time after a successful kickstarter, but they haven't had any news updates in the last eight months (a partnership with Toyota), have been backordered on products like USB C cables for their main charger (the Dart) for more than three months, haven't seen any notable news coverage at all since all the press they got for releasing their power adapters, and are dead on every social media outlet.

Anyone have any idea what happened? They made one of the most useful products I've ever plugged into a laptop just by virtue of it being so small, but the company seems like it's barely clinging to life. I'm surprised their site is even still up.
