Ask HN: How HN has missed two big Google news?

I have noticed something interesting.

I did not find about recent two Google related big news on HN.

One is Apple revoking Google certificates on iOS devices: https://www.cnet.com/news/apple-unblocks-googles-internal-apps-on-ios-devices-report-says/

Another is Google shutting down Google+: https://www.cnet.com/news/google-pages-will-shut-down-on-april-2/

Strange, because I did not notice non of them on the front page. Maybe I left my guard down somehow.
And you didn't notice the Search function either? Not really sure I understand what is your point with this thread.
I remember the discussion about Google+ but I missed the one about the iOS certificates (but I remember the Facebook version, perhaps I just mentally collapsed both of them).

Anyway, you can take a look at https://news.ycombinator.com/best that is like the front page, but with more importance to points and less to time, so big stories are there for a longer period.
