Bunch of bad behaviour in clamshell mode, what does and does not wake up the OS to a (re)login auth on the screen.
Indirectly attached network devices in docks? Not so good. Direct attach dongles? very very temperamental, depends what the dongle is.
Feels like something went wrong in adding TB, USB-C and open/closed lid state handling. I believe the inbuilt KB and Pad are USB devices, so it cannot be the chip level. It feels like something about how the sleep-mode OS is told to be more aroused, and what it then does finding ALL things on the TB/USB-C bus, to wake them into life.
Clamshell mode is now a second class citizen in development and maintenance?
