Ask HN: Are founders and investors in corporate-founded startups aligned?

2 points by jt2190 ↗ HN
In venture-founded startups, investors and founders are (theoretically) aligned in that both want to increase the overall value of the company and reach a point of liquidity, say going public.

Are investors and founders aligned in companies that are created within large corporate incubators? (It seems like the corporate investor might not have much incentive to reach a liquidity event, for example.)

Can someone explain how this works?
