Software Engineer (EVM and Rust Development) – Daolab

We're looking for a Software Engineer who will play a critical role in establishing the technical specification for the security and extensibility of the system architecture within Daolab. Maintaining and developing blockchain software: dealing with P2P networking, consensus algorithms, databases, and decentralized applications can be expected.

Much of our work will be open source and will require extensive knowledge in both smart contract and back-end development.

Responsibilities:

* Initial work will involve programming in Solidity and Rust. * Research and low-level systems development. * High level decisions in the protocol and architecture, incentives and features * Implementing, testing and auditing protocol upgrades and additions * Develop and contribute to unique strategies for long-term maintenance and testing of complex integrations with a range of other tools.

Technologies we use:

* Ethereum EVM v1 (Solidity) * Ethereum WASM * Nodejs * Rust

What we're looking for:

* 3-5 years experience in Software Development or equivalent. * Experience in developing smart contracts for the EVM. Notably in Solidity or other languages that target the EVM * Experience working with systems-level programming, and operating systems development. * Experience in rigorous testing practices and familiar with fuzz testing. * Intermediate experience in Nodejs * Experience with Docker or containerization, in general. * Comfort with Bash and the Linux command line
