Ask HN: Is There a “Test Suite” for robots trained in a simulated environment?
Suppose I am building a robotic lawnmower and I plan to train the AI using a simulated physical environment.
I would like it to shut off automatically if a child runs in front of it, or a car drives in front of it, or it flips over, etc. Is there a general "robotic test suite" that can validate the safety of a robot and how it interacts with the world? Waymo must have something like this, but is there anything publicly available?
