Ask HN: How to go about my first freelance web dev project?

I just landed my first professional freelance project, I'd love if you can redirect me to some blogposts/resources on how to go about the legal/business aspect (contract/proposal/timeline/whether to put web app live early to show progress/how to go about payments/deployment payment/... ) The client has little to no tech knowledge so I get to choose the stack (I am going with Django)
