Good “Learning IT Security/Ethical Hacking” Resources?

As the title reveals, I want to learn about IT security and ethical hacking, and as always, there is a jungle of videos, articles, course enrollment platforms etc etc.

I have a background as a programmer so I'm not completely unfamiliar to computers. But I feel like I really lack in knowledge and skills when it comes to security on a level deeper than basics. My goal would be to be able to perform ethical hacking in order to test my own code to see how secure it is.

I do realise that this is a very broad topic, but it doesn't matter if the resource is aimed at web, native applications, networks ... Anything is of interest, and, knowledge is power.
