Aks HN: I'm Preparing a Seminar on Ethics, Any Tips?

1 points by pengstrom ↗ HN
As the title says, I'll be preparing an ethics seminar for our conference. I'll have about two hours, so I thought I'd research a topic and then we'd have a discussion on it and what recourse one has if faced with a professional ethical choice on a project.

The demographic is the consultants of our consultancy.

The topic I'm currently weighing is "Surveillance and freedom" where we'll talk about the consequences of a "safe" but heavily surveilled society. I think it's a good starting point that can branch out into tracking, advertisement, anonymity and privacy.

Have any of you done this before? Do you have any suggestions or tips?
