Ask HN: How long does it take for you to complete an MVP?

Just for comparison, how long did you take writing an app ready for launch?

Please include time (hours or timeframe) / tech stack (optional)/ previous experience in similar app.

In my case, an app technically similar to Appointment Reminder has taken over a year to complete. I work full time with family. Previous experience only in a simple app with no user data, and my job is in engineering but not software.
