Who wants to bet some of those fantastic future products will be something along the lines of the "courageous" (and certainly bold and unexpected!) phones with no headphone jack?
I'm thinking maybe "no physical ports, wireless charging only" or "display that is not only bezel-less, but seamlessly wraps around the entire front and back surfaces of the phone (incidentally rendering it extremely slippery and completely impossible to service without destroying the screen)"
Tim cook has illustrated that he is the antithesis of Jobs. He is not looking for innovation, just ways to optimize cash flow from existing products.
Look at the state of mac hardware and especially mac os. Look at the new iPad pro that bends out of the box.
Or the new iPhones with giants unnecessary notches and abhorrent price tags.
Apple is running off of brand loyalty and marketing from the jobs era, and they are losing customers with every new underwhelming generation of their product lines.
Its pathetic, honestly. Apple is on track to be back where they were before they had to buy NEXT.
Tim cook has been a terrible CEO for apple. Maybe good for shareholders for the time being, but he is not what apple needs to survive, and is going to put them in a terrible position when he retires soon.
I dont even like apple, but I want them to succeed. Apple's success has never been about pumping out the same products over and over.
It's pretty bad when the devs using your products are looking for 2015 macs because the new ones are worse in every way and with bigger price tags.
I really want apple to switch their macs to ARM like all the rumors say. That would be an industry changing move and would help start the death spiral of x86. But do you really see "dont rock the boat" Tim Cook spearheading that?
Apple needs a visionary that can connect with users again. Tim cook is the furthest thing from that.

There's an extraneous "r" in the title here.
