Ask HN: How to get into VR dev 2019

I had my first real experience with extended use of a new VR headset and I am blown away. I want to start pivoting my career into being a VR dev (I am currently a web infra software engineer). I found some resources online but most are from 2017. I was curious if those are outdated or if they are still resources.
