The audacity of developers to release this on steam. You don't do that with an fetish game. You stay out in the mainstream channels and stick on the fringes. But money needs to be made I guess.

I find this game tasteless and morally objectionable, but it's worth pointing out that rape is a theme in other forms of mainstream media, feeding into and transforming rape culture[0] into rape pop-culture, and that violence is so common as to go unnoticed.

So why is simulating rape particularly odious? Is it the "rape" we object to, or just the interactivity?

Surely it's enough that an adult game is tagged and hidden behind an age-specific filter.
