Hacker News Editors Out of Control

Marking not only threads as dead, willy-nilly, but entire accounts.

If you don't reign them in, the site is going to lose any vitality it might have.

Why the hell would you need 30 editors for a site this size? It's not the Times. Not to mention, unlike in a newspaper, they aren't broken up by department -- it's like having 30 bosses looking over your TPS reports.

You can either have a forum for lively discussion, or a personality cult monoculture.
