Ask HN: Can we go a day without Facebook posts on the frontpage?

I know, the premise of HN is to share what we feel is interesting, valid and relevant. And yes, I know if people are upvoting it that means the community finds it interesting, valid and relevant....

even though it's just as common that the post in question is some new policy push or some action Facebook has taken that was either posted just to get a lambaste reaction from the community, or to echo sentiments in blog form about some disapproval of what FB just did.

But still...it's been a week and a half now there have been on average three Facebook posts on the frontpage, is there ANYTHING else we can talk about in Social Networking, if in fact we must talk about social networking?

What would you suggest that we talk about?
Instead, let's fill the front page with posts about not filling the front page with Facebook posts.

Soapbox posts telling the rest of the community what to do and/or not to do are way worse. Instead of a bunch of Facebook noise, we have Facebook noise AND the don't-post-about-Facebook noise. Great.
