Ask HN: Own money vs. investor's money. Which is easier to spend?

I'd like start funding few of my own ideas but I've read somewhere investor's money is easier to spend, is it so? Personally, I've no problem spending mine, even I like it because it forces one to be more cautious. Any hints to decide? Thank you
