No it hasn't.

Education is state based.

Schools have software at state levels to help control what students can access.

In one state, in public schools, schoolstrike4climate.com is reported blocked.

Even then you'd have to investigate if it's possible to unblock locally in the school.

Missed the second part of the sentence "on Education Department network computers". Not really news.
