I can imagine a few editors biting their nails right about now, wanting to go "balls deep" in smearing PewDiePie all over this incident.

I've seen it take off on Twitter already, and it's a damn shame we live in a time where things can get twisted and turned in a repulsive story for the sake of dollar bills.

Absolutely zero respect or common decency towards other human beings.

Well, we have different takes on this. On Twitter I see as many condolences for "pewdiepie" as I do for the victims. He doesn't strike me as a particularly responsible person, considering his audience seems to be throngs of elementary school children, and tweens.

I don't think it does a society much good to have Mr Heated-gaming-moment as a role model for half a million ten year olds. The world has seen plenty of unrest lately, but things can become so much worse, as kids for whom this is the "new normal" grow up.
