Why is this public and they don't handle it directly between the two companies? Not with posts, not with AppStore review feedback. Send some people that can talk and solve this?

This kind of thing is so weird for me when companies do that.

Each are trying to win the public opinion by pointing fingers at one another saying "see? they are the bad guys, not us!"

Bringing it out / transparency is a strategy to get attention and hope the other party change their policy.

Looks like Spotify tried to negotiate over a long period of time[1], but didn't have any leverage, so decided to go public instead.

Does Apple's streaming service pay creators significantly better than Spotify? Does anyone have numbers on this?
