Ask HN: Are you Canadian working remote from Canada and receiving in US dollars?

I wonder if it's possible to get a job as a software engineer, work remote from Canada and receive in US Dollars. If you are in this situation how does Tax and transfer exchange work ? Do they have a company in Canada and pay you in CAD but with US salary standards
