Ahrefs is working on general purpose search engine to compete with Google (twitter.com)

Aha, so that's why Ahrefs has been plaguing my servers with a more-or-less infinite number of requests, and some apparently really stupid crawling.

At best, this will be another "Cuil" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuil), so what's Ahrefs' exit strategy?
