Ask HN: OCR/ML on Supermarket Ads How to Do It?

I have always thinked about many ways on how to obtain structured information around the Super Market Advertisement scenario: https://www.theblackfriday.com/walmart-blackfriday.shtml

I have thinked about approaching in many different ways, but it ends up that OCR technology is always best but I can never associate like this text is for this product because it's always many in one. I have always thinked about this problem would be the following steps: 1) Have AI Computer Vision to slice the ad in pieces, then run OCR for each "slice". There are many different types of ads and content so it would have to be a AutoML scenario for a AI image slicer has because I wanted to be able to put a Walmart then a whatever other market paper ad there too, this would be awesome to recnognize patterns on a paper by utilizing ML. I Have no idea and never got to a point where I would say hey this is it, if anyone has any clues of where to start looking for this at least the slicing part it would be great, the OCR I have found a couple but for me recognize the different sections in a page would be totally cool.
