Ask HN: Why would HN not seem to care about an interesting bug in YouTube?

Seriously, I'm trying to get some attention about a bug in YouTube's web site that allows to skip Ads without having to have anything special installed or mess with JavaScript... and I hardly get a "meh"...

I don't get it, will someone please explain? Isn't this "Hacker News"? Has something else changed in the world lately? Are people traveling in blimps now?

You must be trolling right? April's fools was the other day, so try again next year.
You haven't provided any evidence, so it's just an unbacked claim at this stage. Posts like that never go well on HN. There's only 30 slots on the front page and the Ask page, so people like them to have substance.

Also, even if it's true, it just sounds like a bug that would be fixed in 10 minutes once known about, and there's no great potential for data leakage or loss to anyone except a bit of revenue loss to Google, which wouldn't really bother anyone.
