Ask HN: What is the best BI/Analytics solution for a growing startup?

I am working for a startup that just raised a Series A and we are looking for the v2 of our analytics. So far our data driven culture has been supported by quite a bit of hacking. The thing is, we ideally would like to run SQL queries but also some python scripts on top and share the output with our customers. A couple of cloud based services offer this kind of possibilities (like Mode Analytics, Periscope Data, Sisense) but so far I cannot find any that allow the output of the scripts to be accessed via their API. We are now considering sharing the reports as pdfs which is not ideal. We also would like to avoid having to build the API from scratch. What are you guys using for your company analytics? Would you recommend it? Any suggestions?
