What do you keep your assets in? In particular, do you follow the common wisdom of stockpiling S&P 500 ETFs?

If your employer offers stock/option compensation, do you (excercise and) sell as soon as possible? Do you avoid assets correlated with primary income (e.g., avoid employer stock or even all tech stocks)?
