Ask HN: What are good textbooks on software security?

1 points by gylterud ↗ HN
I am giving a course on software security for advanced bachelor students and master students in computer science, and I am looking for one or several textbooks to use as a base for the course.

Previous incarnations of the course used “Secure and Resilient Software Development” by Merkow and Raghavan, but it is outdated and frankly not very good.

The course covers both secure design, implementation, and common vulnerabilities in software.

Any suggestions on (preferably quite recent) books which cover these topics in good detail?
