How to find interested people who would like to help validating business idea?

A lot of ppl are talking about taking direct call with people in order to understand and validate business idea they are having, but how do you find those ppl? Guess taking friends and family is not a smartest idea, since they will support you and will not give you realistic input you are looking for.

Any ideas?
