Michael Scheuerer is a bargain-basement Henry Kissinger†. At no point previously in his career has he been a world champion for transparency. A rational bead on the subtext of this article is, "anything that shakes Washington up is an opportunity for me to get my face in the paper and slam the administration".

Scheuerer, on "extraordinary rendition", what he claims to have been the most successful anti-terrorist activity in the last 10 years: 90% of this operation was successful and only 10% could be considered as disastrous. [The disaster?] The fact that everything was made public.

Title-bait aside, how much of the article was wrong? I found it (and the rest of the site) fairly interesting.
