Question to VC's
Friend of a friend (security specialist) designed a hardware device (security space) that suddenly attracted attention of multiple government (Europe, UK) as well as law enforcement customers.
They are paying and ordering these devices. He essentially one-man army to order parts, put them together, package and ship. This is slow as is.
He is looking for investment and I can help in $100-$200k range to get things rolling. I think he discovered interesting niche with lots of potential for expansion.
What is typical to ask for from the VC point of view? Equity? How much?
