Ask HN: How can I use my grid solar panel more effectively

I have grid solar panels installed at my home where my parents live. It's my hometown. They use 40% of total generated electricity. Rest of electricity goes into grid and we don't get paid for this excess electricity generated. They only waive off our consumption. Meanwhile I'm living in metro city here in India and paying almost around ₹1000(around 15$) electricity bill every month.

I should mention that around 360KwH is generated during summer and around 240KwH during rainy season. For rest of year it's in between.

I guess what I'm asking is if it's possible to use that excess electricity to pay off my electricity bill here in metro city.

tldr: I'm looking for some ingenious ways to use excess electricity(180 KwH) to generate income so as to pay off my bills.
