Yes.. how surprising... just goes to show jungle animals come in abundant shapes and sizes, some more familiar than others.. and with some hopefully making cough medicines.
How did you find that? Of all of the microphones to choose to listen, and of all of the time available to listen, you found that? Did you buy a lottery ticket shortly after?
The lowland rainforest in Borneo where we work is already highly disturbed by logging and oil palm. Part of this project is to establish the audio characteristics of intact and degraded forest so we can try to assess and monitor habitat quality. Locals are Malaysian farmers, loggers and the like, not isolated groups like those you do find in Amazonia.
interesting but still have no idea how to record these sounds snippet, u know, at the very end of day, if u can play those sounds offline, that would be awesome, I hope someone can figure it out and tell me.
