1. we should uncritically believe any woman who makes any claim of sexual assault
2. We shouldn't have any expectations of women who makes any claim for sexual assault - essentially behavior inconsistent with sexual assault should not take away from a woman's claims of sexual assault.
3. Despite the enormous risks this presents in the form of false accusations, and the gravity of the harm he suffers should he be falsely accused, men should still seek out women and feel when around women.
Do they really think any one who isn't insane would invite that kind of risk to himself?
As a criminal lawyer I can attest that there are judges and prosecutors, at least here in Canada, who take just this type of stance. Given this new reality, why would any sensible man put themselves at such risk to be near a woman? Would you feel free around someone who can at any time arbitrarily have you locked up? Would you want to be around someone with that much power over you?
I understand that often preached "no means no" and "consent." But the reality is nothing sexual has to happen for someone to make an allegation. Clearly some people make false accusations, that's why public mischief is a crime and people are locked up for it. What's the prevalence of false accusations? Nobody knows. Advocats of me too say it's less than 1%, others say it's over 80% but the reality is nobody knows for sure.
We're basically in communist style governments where any kind of accusations of impropriety could get you thrown in jail without any reasonable analysis. In such a world the only reasonable solution is to stay away from members of the official party and their supporters.
If we want women to be treated as equals in the workplace than female victims of crime should be treated no different than male victims of crime. The burden of proof should be the same for accused on all sides and it should be reasonable doubt not "believe a woman."
