Sorry, got burned with the Google Glass. You'd have to give that shit away for free before I wrote another line of code for it.
I want to work on my Subaru Forester. I want to replace my own brakes, my own spark plugs, my own transmission fluid, my own wheel bearings, even my own timing belt.

If you can create an augmented overlay, showing the exact step-by-step process to performing these operations, yeah, I want that.

Imagine you have to replace your spark plugs, you load up the Spark Plug software, and it shows you the exact spark plug and model you need. Then it shows you the tools you need. And when you look at your engine, an overlay of the spark plug animates with how you lift a box, and then pull the spark plug, and then pull the spark plug cable, then replace it. See the problem isn’t just replacing the spark plug, it’s knowing how to get to the spark plug in the first place. That would be something I’d buy.

It's sad to see Google building a reputation of discontinuation more than building reputation of creating innovative products lately.
Couldn't agree with you more. I do hope this time around they put on something more powerful than a TI OMAP SOC.
Yup, same here. Got early in the beta, spent $1,500 on the device, worked hard in building apps and demos, integrations, feedback, etc... evangelized others on how amazing this will be and... sorry, Glass is discontinued, your device is now useless (not counting that the prism started falling apart within a year of usage). No more, thanks.
