I have no words. The idiocy knows no bounds.
Time to look for a new backend or fork the open version for a good business niche.
I thought in US, cross-state commerce issues (like covert tarrifs or other trade-impeding actions) -- are under jurisdiction of Federal Government.

Salesforce (and therefore Heroku) HQ are in CA, so it would seem that they can implement these kinds of trade-restrictive practices, however not across state lines.

Would US Fed gov, have a say in this (same about Netflix and Disney saying that they will not produce their films in Georgia now).

Benioff probably considers this to be a prerequisite for running for political office in California in the future.
