Ask HN: How do you control your free food intake at work?
With all the free food and snacks in the offices these days, how are all software engineers not 300lbs+ ?!
If at any point during the day I have down time-- I head to the kitchen and grab a snack. I do this countless times every day.
It has come to the point that I have to fast on Monday-Wednesday-Friday in order to not get fat. I work out 5/6 times a week and my physique is OK, but it would have been a hella lot better if I stayed away from the damned kitchen.
What's your technique?
