Wow, when I read "help me with a proposal" I thought it was about wording and texting. Not money. Why the heck does a proposal cost money? My wedding did not cost a single cent. It was only the two of us, and it was really nice. The only cost was maybe 50€ for the legislative documents.
I really don't get it why people make huge wedding parties which cost thousands of dollars if you cannot afford it or don't plan to get the money back by your visitors (i.e. their presents shall cover the expenses, a common idiom).
Sorry for the criticism. Hopefully you can afford the kind of event you want to do! My constructive comment shall only raise the question if it is society which wants you to do this kind of event or if it is really what you want.
