Looking for Suggestions for a Tablet

I'm not sure if and how often this has already been bounced around, but I am looking to ditch my laptop and set up a decent desktop at my office desk.

For on-the-road work though, I want to get a decent tablet...I have been working on Ubuntu for years and really enjoy it, and I have a mild allergy to Microsoft and Apple. Are there other decent tablet options out there that I should be looking at?
