The kids who wrote this are trying really hard to be edgy.

That said, I appreciate their definition of “tech bro” not including programmers, who usually are the opppsite of “bro” (or otherwise quickly transition into management), that being a frequent abuse of the term.

Someone could have written a very clever and funny article using this concept.

Unfortunately, this is not that article.

TNW, Mashable, Benedict Evans, or any number of sites could have written a genuinely useful guide to those starting a business or looking to raise money.

This article is instead a outrage click / culture war piece worth flagging, which you can tell from the domain.
